Maureen Cole, Penguin, Portfolio, YPG Planning Committee President
Maureen Cole is an associate publicist for Portfolio and Sentinel, the business and conservative imprints of Penguin Group. Before joining Penguin, she worked as a Publicity Assistant at Cambridge University Press. She is a graduate of the NYU Summer Publishing Institute and holds a bachelor's degree in English from Loyola College in Maryland.
Lisa LaPoint, MIT Press
Lisa LaPoint is a publicist at The MIT Press in Cambridge, MA. Prior to relocating to Boston, she was in the trade group at Cambridge University Press and before that at St. Martin's Press, both in New York. While at Cambridge she oversaw events for the YPG. She graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor's degree in Urban Studies and History.

Courtney Young is an editorial assistant at Portfolio, an imprint of the Penguin Group specializing in business books. Before joining Penguin, she worked as a technical writer and editor for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California and graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in English.
Julie Sills, Random House
Julie Sills is the Marketing Manager for Broadway Books, a division of Random House, Inc. Her career in publishing began when she spent a summer interning for Portfolio, a business imprint of Penguin Books. Following that, she spent three months working in London for Penguin UK. She participated in the Stanford Professional Publishing Course Summer 07, and she holds a bachelor's degree in English from The University of Michigan.
Mike Barry, Macmillan
Mike Barry is the library marketing assistant for Macmillan, parent company of St. Martin's Press, Farrar, Straus & Giroux, Henry Holt, and Tor Books. As a student, Mike interned for Random House and Andrews McMeel Publishing. Mike is a recent graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in English.
Joseph Berkowitz, McGraw-Hill
Joseph Berkowitz is currently an editorial assistant in McGraw-Hill's Consumer division. He works on a variety of books in such genres as Self-Help, Parenting, Sports, and Fitness. Previously Joseph worked in the sales department at Penguin Young Readers Group and he has an MS in Publishing from Pace University.

Laura Bourgeois is an assistant editor at St. Martin's Press, a division of Macmillan. Before joining St. Martin's Press, she was a member of the editorial and publicity staff at independent art and photography book publisher PowerHouse Books in Brooklyn and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in English and Political Science.
Beth Harper, Harper Collins
Beth Harper is an assistant publicist at HarperCollins Publishers. In addition to book publicity, she also works on audiobook publicity for HarperAudio. Beth graduated from Duke University with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and French.
Jessica Rotondi, St. Martin's Minotaur
Jessica Rotondi is a publicity assistant at St. Martin's Minotaur, a division of Macmillan. Before coming to St. Martin's Minotaur, she worked in publicity for Hyperion Books. As an undergraduate, Jessica interned in the editorial department at Blackwell Publishing in Boston. She holds an honors degree in Creative Nonfiction from Brown University.

Stephanie Bowen is an editorial assistant at the Doubleday Publishing Group, a division of Random House, Inc., where she works on history, biography, memoir, self-help, and personal finance books.
