About Us The Young to Publishing Group (YPG) is an initiative of the Association of American Publishers' (AAP) Diversity, Recruit & Retain Committee that strives to give entry-level and junior industry employees (typically with 0 - 5 years of book publishing experience) a chance to build a community outside of their own publishing house and to educate themselves about the industry as a whole.
